Do my clients or workers pay anything?
No. Subshift is priced per agency. Your clients get their self-service portal free. Your workers get the mobile app free. You pay for the agency platform — they pay nothing.
How long does setup take?
Under an hour. Import your workers from CSV, invite your clients, and you're live. The whole setup — including a personal walkthrough with our onboarding team — typically takes less than 60 minutes.
Can I try it with one client first?
Yes — absolutely. Many agencies start with a single client or site to see the results before rolling out to their full operation. There's no minimum number of clients or workers required during the trial.
Do you offer training?
Yes, and it's free. Every agency gets a free onboarding session with the Subshift team. We walk you through the platform personally — not via a help doc or video library. Growth plan customers also get dedicated ongoing support.
What counts as an "active worker"?
An active worker is one who has been assigned at least one shift in the current billing month. Workers on your books but not currently working don't count toward the limit.
Is there a setup fee or onboarding charge?
None. You get full access immediately on the free trial. Growth plan customers also get dedicated onboarding support included — we walk you through setup personally, not via a help doc.
Can I import my existing workers?
Yes. We support bulk worker import from CSV, so you can bring your entire existing workforce across in minutes. Our onboarding team will help you get everything structured correctly.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, any time. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you pay the prorated difference. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle. No contracts, no lock-in.
What if I go over 50 workers on the Starter plan?
We'll notify you when you're approaching the limit and make upgrading to Growth simple. We won't cut off your access mid-month.
