Feature · Rate Cards

Rate cards that
think like you do.

Not every shift is a flat hourly rate. Nights, weekends, bank holidays, overtime thresholds, guaranteed minimums — all applied correctly, automatically, per client and per position.

What a rate card can do

Hourly or fixed

Choose hourly pay or flat fixed-fee shifts. Both are supported per client/position pair.

Multiple rates per card

Add a base rate, an overtime rate, a weekend rate, a bank holiday rate — stacked rules resolved automatically.

Time windows

Define the hours each rate applies — e.g., a night rate from 22:00 to 06:00.

Day-of-week rules

Apply a rate only on specific days — Saturday-and-Sunday, Monday-to-Friday, bank holidays only.

Overtime thresholds

Automatically apply the overtime rate after a configurable number of minutes in the shift.

Breaks and rounding

Break-deduction rules, rounding to nearest interval, and guaranteed minimum paid hours — all per card.

Pay vs charge split

Every rate has both a pay rate (to the worker) and a charge rate (to the client). Margin stays visible.

Per-client-per-position

Each client-and-position pair gets its own card. Same worker, different rates across clients — handled cleanly.

Auditable changes

Rate card versions are tracked. Past shifts always bill against the rate in force at the time.
